Birth, Death and Marriage Certificates
Ordering civil records from the Registry in Roseau, from Athens.
Civil records are held by the Registrar in Roseau. The Consulate can request a certified copy on your behalf, which is usually faster and more reliable than writing from abroad.
What we need from you
Full name on the record, including any maiden name.
Date and place of the event, as precisely as you can give it.
Parents’ full names in the case of a birth certificate.
Your relationship to the person named, and identification.
Purpose of the request, since some uses require an apostille.
Apostille
If the certificate will be used before a Greek authority it must carry an apostille issued in Dominica. Ask for this at the time of the request; adding it afterwards means starting again.
