Dominican licences, international permits and visitor permits for driving on the island.
Visitors
A visitor holding a valid licence from their home country needs a Dominica visitor’s driving permit, which is issued at the airport, at the port, or at the Traffic Department in Roseau on presentation of the home licence.
Residents and citizens
Application form completed and signed.
Valid identification and proof of address.
Existing licence, or a certificate of competency from a driving test.
Eye test result from a recognised optician.
Two passport photographs.
Payment of the prescribed fee.
Through the Consulate
We certify copies of your Greek or other national licence for use in Dominica, and we can transmit renewal applications for citizens who cannot attend in person. Driving in Dominica is on the left.
