Citizenship by Marriage
For the spouse of a Dominican citizen, by registration rather than investment.
A person married to a citizen of the Commonwealth of Dominica may apply to be registered as a citizen. This is a separate legal route from the investment programme, with its own conditions and a much smaller fee.
What is required
A valid marriage certificate, apostilled where issued abroad.
Evidence that the marriage is genuine and subsisting.
Proof of the spouse’s Dominican citizenship.
Police certificates for the applicant.
Completion of the prescribed residence or connection requirement.
Process

Prepare the file in Athens
We check the documents and certify copies for onward transmission.

Submission in Roseau
The application is registered with the relevant authority in Dominica.
3
Decision and oath
On approval, the applicant is registered as a citizen and may then apply for a passport.
