Registering a Business Name
The first step for anyone trading in Dominica under a name other than their own.
Process

Name search
Submit up to three proposed names to the Companies and Intellectual Property Office for clearance.

Statement of particulars
File the business name statement with the nature of the business, the address, and the details of each proprietor.

Certificate
On registration the certificate is issued and the name may be used on signage, invoices and bank accounts.
You will need
Identification for every proprietor.
A physical address in Dominica for the business.
A description of the activity.
Payment of the registration fee.
